RSS feeds: follow artists without the algorithm

by Moffer Team

We built Moffer on ownership over reach - your music, your prices, your fan list. Distribution should work the same way, so Moffer now speaks RSS: the open, algorithm-free way to hear when something new drops.

What you can follow

  • Every artist has a release feed. Each artist page shows a “Release feed” link - hit the copy button next to it and paste it anywhere. Every new track and release lands there first.
  • A sitewide feed. moffer.co/feed.xml carries everything new across the site - every public artist’s fresh tracks and releases in one stream.
  • This blog. Product news ships to /blog/feed.xml too - so if you’re reading this in a feed reader, you already found it.

How to subscribe

Open any Moffer page - the marketplace, an artist page, this blog - and paste it into your feed reader: Feedly, Inoreader, NetNewsWire, Miniflux, or whatever you use. Readers detect the feed automatically. Or find “Release feed” on an artist page, hit the copy button, and paste the URL straight in.

No account, no login - the feeds are public, because following an artist shouldn’t require asking permission.

Why we bother

Algorithmic follows are rented. The platform decides which of your followers actually see the announcement, and they see it wedged between everything else. An RSS feed is just a pipe: you release, the reader shows up with it, nothing standing in the middle.

For artists, a feed URL is a subscribe link you own - put it in your bio, your Linktree, your newsletter signature. And for the fans who keep their subscriptions in their own reader, it’s the most deliberate way there is to follow music they chose, not music an algorithm served.

Try it

Browse the marketplace, open an artist you like, and grab their release feed. Want product news in the same place? Subscribe to the blog.
